The Labour Party at Westminster stepped up its attack on excessive pay and bonuses to Bank staff this afternoon. They're trying to push through a motion which will restrict bonuses in banks, such as RBS, to reflect only " genuinely exceptional performance''. It follows the controversy over RBS boss Stephen Hester's decision to decline his bonus and the removal of Fred Goodwin's knighthood.
