Question by jerry M: Is deflation scare some kind of a scam?
I keep seeing on the internet opinions that deflation is 'debilitating', 'paralyzing' the economy.
But look at computer and consumer electronics prices. They keep falling year after year. Average laptop was ~$ 1500 in 2000 and now it's ~$ 800 and for $ 800 you get way more powerful machine. Same with consumer electronics prices: average walkman cdplayer was ~$ 100 in 1997and now it's
