Question by : Should we cheer for the social success of the Scandinavian countries as a triumph of successful capitalism?
The definition of socialism is the means of production is owned by the collective.

Industries in the Scandinavian countries are privately owned. Therefore, it is capitalism, not socialism.

The success of Scandinavian capitalism is what allows them to have such generous social programs.
